Operating eco-efficiently with care for the planet and natural resources.

At Clarivate, we are committed to taking care of our planet and natural resources so that we can build a better world for the generations to come. This means prioritizing operational eco-efficiency and creating sustainable workspaces, as well as contributing our time, knowledge and resources to help those who are trying to solve the world’s complex environmental issues.

We’ve set ambitious goals to become one of the top companies to work for, to be carbon neutral by 2024.

We aim to operate eco-efficiently in every part of our business, throughout our supply chain and in our daily operations. We actively review our systems, processes, and partnerships to identify areas for improvement. Examples include partnering with Trip Actions, which enables us to offer more sustainable travel options for colleagues, and launching an R2 compliant e-waste recycling effort throughout our global operations, efforts designed to improve and respect our use of natural resources. Every change, no matter how large or small, helps us to improve our impact on our environment and we look forward to continuous improvements across our business.

Our primary facilities manager is JLL, a leader in sustainable real estate. Through working with JLL, we are able to measure and monitor our energy, water, waste and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The Clarivate Supply Chain Ethical Code of Conduct (“Code”) seeks to encouragecomparable standards of behavior for our suppliers worldwide, thereby driving commitment to ethical improvementsthroughout our supply chain.

Our Make a Difference to Climate Change initiative enables us to take responsibility and size opportunities to act now. We want to be part of the solution for climate change, today and for years to come. Our goal is to be a positive force to impact climate change – one of the defining issues of our time.

Through the Make a Difference to Climate Change initiative, we are addressing two key priorities:

  1. Power the ideas and innovations that will ultimately help solve the climate change problem, by using our position in the IP industry.
  2. Reduce our own footprint byimplementing actions that raise awareness and reduce our own consumption, therefore helping to positively impact climate change for years to come.

The initiative started with 20 initial members and it has now escalated to more than 1,600 and counting.
